Dr. Prashant Kumar is a Materials Research Scientist with P.hD in physics and specialized in Condensed Matter Physics/ Materials Science with a strong teaching and mentoring background, having guided bachelor’s and master’s students in both research and academic settings. Specializing in Material Characterization, his expertise covers Magnetic Materials, Nano materials, Nanofabrication, Thin Film Deposition, and Spintronics, with applications in environmental and biomedical fields. Dr. Kumar has published 25 research papers and 3 book chapters, earning over 660 citations. He is a recipient of six awards for best presentations at international conferences and was recently honored with the Prof. Baldev Raj Award for Best Performance in the joint PhD program between AcSIR and RMIT University.
